Baby bump

We have the best neighbors.  The family across the street is expecting another girl next month.  We were all excited to shoot some belly photos.  My boys love playing with the soon-to-be big sister.  What a beautiful family!

2nd newborn session

Anyone recognize this new baby?  She is not that new anymore but she's just beautiful.  I swear her personality is peeking through already.  Look at that little smile!

Retiring

My favorite my pair of jeans are nearing their retirement.  I blew out the knee during all my photo sessions late last year.  A patch prolonged the inevitable for a few washes.  But alas, the hole has officially arrived.  I am so sad.  I found them shortly after we moved back from Omaha at a second hand store.  I scored a great deal- $150 jeans for only $25.  But now I can't go back and just buy another pair.  I practically live in these jeans.  Finding a new pair that is as comfortable will be next to impossible, I fear.  I get so jealous of Jason.  Anytime he needs new jeans, I go to the store- any department store- and pick up Levi's 569 33x30.  They fit.  EVERY time.  It must be nice.

But there is hope.  I found a similar pair today at another second hand store.  When I tried them on, they felt just like my other pair.  Soft denim shaped perfectly for ME.  Hard to find, right ladies???  Of course, they came home with me.  I am so excited I had to document it here.

I swear I do have more than one pair of jeans.  In fact, I have a whole drawer full of them.  But some are too high, some are too long, a few others are too tight.  There can only be one favorite pair of jeans.  I hope I've found my new fave.  :)

1st newborn session

Here are some of my favorite images from my very first newborn session.  Baby J was just beautiful.  And look at all that hair!  I am definitely not used to babies with hair.  :)  I learned a lot and am excited to practice more in the future.  They are just too cute.

Downtown Gilbert with Logan

Logan wanted to come with me to explore Downtown Gilbert.  (I have another photo session scheduled there.)  We had a great time looking for the perfect spot for photos.  He was a great little model.

Kisses for Mommy!

He looks so grown up!  Handsome kid.

I love his belly laughs.  He has such a happy spirit.

Ah, train tracks.  I love 'em.

If you are interested in a photo session, let me know.  I am not charging as I am still learning.  I just want the practice.  :)

Papago Park: Round 2

Ryan and I went to Papago Park yesterday.  I have a photo session scheduled and I wanted to check out the location before hand.  Did you know there are two parks known as Papago Park?  I didn't until our last zoo trip.  I like the one next to the Phoenix Zoo better.  Ryan was a great model- until he discovered he could throw rocks into the lake.  Isn't he CUTE?!?!?

He brought me this rock and said "I found a red rock, Mom".  I was really impressed he knew the right color.  I thought he'd want to keep it.  Nope.  He wanted to throw it in the lake with the rest of them.

Tire swinging

Another play date with our friends Missy and Owen.  The boys had a great time on the tire swing!

This is Ryan's new favorite thing...  sticking out his tongue.  He is cute but I hope this phase passes quickly!

WHEEEE!!!
